blessings should be shared

Just recently, something I’m thankful of, happened to me. I was happy but later realized that such things are really of no significance… for me. I’ve seen people who hold celebrations for such events but surprisingly, it made me feel nothing. No need for festivity. It was of less weight in my happiness scale that’s why I decided not to share it with everybody. Truth is, I even planned of not sharing it with anybody. But then, blessings should be shared as a testimony to God’s awesome grace.

So after an hour or two, I decided to share this certain blessing I’ve got with my good friend and bro, Popo, who has always been there for me no matter what mess I’m going through and one of the very few whom I’ve shared the most personal part of my life and my most personal thoughts.

I also shared it with my sister, Jane R. We used to think that we stayed this long because of the dance group. I don’t think so. It’s the friendship I built with her that totally surpasses every other reason that emerges.

I would also like to share it with the astronaut I’ve met almost a year ago. I just don’t know if I could even do that. Despite everything that had happened between the two of us, I’m still thankful I’ve met him. We used to think it’ll last but it didn’t. I think cupids should be trained on hitting arrows on the right time. Too much haste blinds people from scrutinizing their feelings. Well, he’s now happy with his newfound love. And I’m happy with that.

Before I went home the other day, I gave my two close friends a call to inform them about the blessing. The next day, to my surprise, I’ve received wonderful gifts (the flowers were pretty and the tokens were cute!!) and touching letters. News spread really fast :)

I thank God for His continuous blessings to me. I don’t know how to share it with you but I want you to know that I feel so blessed to have you. I don’t have to mention your names. But thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
