About to sleep when I remembered that today is the result of the ESPY Awards so I logged online only to be disappointed to know that Novak Djokovic won the Best Male Tennis Player. Oh well. I know he got more achievements this year and he is currently number one (why did I even expect it would be someone else?). Fine.

The ESPY Award (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) is an acknowledgement or honour given by ESPN to individuals and teams for their athletic achievements and other sports-related performances in a year.

LeBron James was the biggest winner of the night. He won the Best Male Athlete, Best NBA Player and Best Championship Performance. He is the first repeat winner of Best Male Athlete since Lance Armstrong won it in 4 straight years, 2003-2006. His team Miami Heat also won the award for Best Team. And you can clearly see how happy they are with this picture from the Old Spice photo booth.

I'm not a Miami Heat fan. Oh no. But I think this pic is a good one to show you guys.

Serena Williams won the Best Female Athlete (which she also won last 2003) and Best Female Tennis Player.

Michael Phelps also is a big winner with 2 awards, Best Record-Breaking Performance and Best Male US Olympic Athlete. Seriously, who else should take it?

Same thing goes to Tiger Woods for grabbing the Best Male Golfer award.

You can check the complete list of winners at the ESPN or at The Hollywood Gossip website.
