not interesting anymore

Nung first week of March, some people from one of our branches went to our office for training. I had the chance to get bonded with some of them when we had a birthday celebration para sa isa naming boss. Pero hindi pa ko ganun ka-close sa lahat. Close ako actually sa isang girl (let’s call her Anj), kasi ako yung nag-train sa kaniya and dun sa isang guy (let’s call him Jun), kasi he’s a good conversationalist.

Meron silang kasamang isa pang guy (let’s call him Ren) who’s actually cute (approved yan ni Jane R. at ng boss ko but he’s the shy/quiet type. I learned na soon, I will train him din. So in short, natuwa ako :)

Nakakatuwa siyang tignan kasi he’s cute, maputi, boy-next-door type pero parang suplado na hindi. Siya yung tipong you wanna get to know more. Ganun yung dating niya.

So, for the past two weeks that they’ve stayed in our office, I never had the chance to converse with him, which is actually fine with me. I like it better na I just look at him everytime may transaction akong ginagawa dun sa division where he is currently undergoing training. Mas masaya yung ganun, yung tipong wala akong alam anything about him.

Then last weekend, Anj was texting me and she shared to me what was happening when they went to Baywalk. So text, text, text. Then she told me, “cha, hinihingi ni Ren yung number mo” Then eventually I learned na naibigay na pala niya before I could even say yes. Argh! Bokya talaga! Why?! Wala nang challenge! He already texted me saying he got the number blah..blah..blah… Hay… mas masaya yung dati, yung tipong walang means to communicate.

Then this afternoon, while I was talking to Jun, tumitingin ako sa kaniya kasi I was trying to explain something. Ang bastos naman if katabi siya ni Jun and he’s also listening tapos I wouldn’t even look at him. While Jun gave me his reaction, siya nakatingin lang siya with a smiling face! Ang weird! Ang weird ng tingin niya.

Now, hindi na ko interested. Hindi na ko natutuwa.

Mas masaya yung tipong hindi ka pinapansin, walang paki sa iyo, yung tipong kahit siguro gumagapang ka na, hindi pa rin niya malalaman that you exist. There’s thrill in it because if he gives you one look or even a glimpse, mapapa-smile ka na sa tuwa!

But then of course, not in all cases I like things to be that way. There are times when I’m interested or when I like someone, I want that guy to feel the same way for me (of course) but there are also those cases wherein I like someone pero when I learned that they like me too, nawawala na yung interest ko sa kanila.

Do you people get what I’m desperately trying to explain here? Hindi lang naman ako yung ganito diba? It’s a common thing, isn’t it?
