conversations post-possession

I've always told myself that if I would have a romantic relationship with a guy, he has to a be a friend of mine. But it was just recently that I've thought about it again and realized that how could it be possible when I put all my guy friends in a box. Maybe not all, but most of them... 98% of them I guess. When I say I put them in a box, it means that I decided to close my feelings for any other possible affinity beyond friendship.

One lazy afternoon...
Ska: why does Gelo have to say that to me?
Dia: maybe he needed to hear himself say that in order to convince himself and maganda rin na sinabi mo ung line mo.
Ska: really? yey!
Dia: yeah. keeps things between you two held in place. If u really can't afford to lose him as a friend, then its good.
Ska: Pero does he really have to do that?

Ska: I really don’t understand
Dia: meaning, wala syang ibang plano with any girl the whole week! Pwede sa kaniya Monday-Sunday. As in sayong-sayo sya the whole week!
Ska: sis, di un ganun.
Dia: sa ibang points, paniwala ka sa akin. tapos, the next, hindi ka na bigla naniniwala uli. Labo mo sa totoo lang.
Ska: natatawa lang ako sa iyo kasi ang lawak tlga ng naiisip mo! una you’re saying defense mech nya ganito... the next minute... bilib ka na sa kanya
Dia: feeling ko talaga, timing na lang ang hinahanap nya. ): kasi nga, alam nya sa ngayon, hindi ka pa ok sa idea of falling in love with a friend.
Ska: hindi ba? Hahaha di ko lam yun ah! Sino may sabi? Hey wait… nagtext sya asking how I am. Duh! Wag na nga nya ko kausapin!.
Dia: sis, wag mo akong bugbugin ha for what I’m going to say next...
Ska: oh my… ok
Dia: wouldn't it be nice for you and Gelo to find happiness in each other?
Ska: HOLY COW!!!! WHERE ON EARTH DID U GET THAT???!! nakakatawa ka!

Ska: hmmm…

Dia: aren’t those nice things to have?
Ska: they are nice pero feeling ko bilib lang ako dun kasi yun yung disappointment ko kay Jim.
Dia: malaki naman problema ni Jim eh. You know, I really wish for myself to have someone like Gelo in my life. Mapalad ka sis sa totoo lang.
Ska: awwww…. Pero di naman namin type isa-t isa eh. We’re just really close.
Dia: hehe, ok...sige, if that allows u to sleep at night
Ska: hay…. Iba lang tlga siguro ihip ng hangin the last time we were together.
Dia: suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure wala rin naman akong magagawa kung wala talaga
Ska: alcohol would be nice…
